Sugarloaf Community is a family developed community. We have been managing and developing communities since 1966.  We have family owned and operated 8 different communities over the years.  Our approach has always been – build a great community – and great residents and neighbors will come.  We pride ourselves on providing the best community the State of Louisiana has to offer while still providing a great value for the resident.  We attract everyone from the first time home owner, to the older mature resident – who is looking for low cost, low maintenance great living.  Spacious home sites,  concrete paved streets & parking, underground city utilities, pool  and a resident recreation building are  some of the amenities we offer.  Our  amenities make our community nice, our residents make our community a great place to live.

Industry Background – Our family started in the manufactured home business in the 1960’s with a manufactured home retail center known as Royer Mobile Homes.  We expanded the business across south Louisiana and into Texas and Mississippi.  We are a member of our industry association,  the LMHA (Louisiana Manufactured Housing Association).  Our membership and participation with the LMHA goes back to the associations inception in the 1960’s.  From holding the office of President of the association, to board member and community representative the goal of our participation is to work to improve the standards of living and image of manufactured housing.  We have been available to many people over the years for consulting on every aspect of the manufactured housing retail, communities and marketing.

Other Interests
Insurance – We are a licensed insurance agent and offer manufactured home insurance. Coverages can include your home, contents, liability, flood and water craft if needed. We have been offering competitive rates for over 30 years.
